Dr. Jin Zhang is world renowned for his expertise in Acupuncture and Moxibution, particularly in Advanced Manipulation Techniques. He is currently the Chief Doctor and Professor at TCM Academy of Heilongjiang Province, Professor of Henan University of TCM and Heilongjiang University of Chinese Medicine. Dr. Zhang has worked for over 60 years on the advancement of TCM worldwide, through countless hours of practice, research and dedication on a number of TCM Associations, including his roles as a Board Member of All-China Zhen-Jiu (Acupuncture & Moxibustion) Association, Chair of The Branch Association of Acupuncture- Moxibustion Manipulation, Chairman of the Northeast China Research Association of Acupuncture and Moxibustion, Committee Member of Chinese International Examination Center of Acupuncture and Moxibustion, Panel Member of the Scientific Evaluation Group of Chinese State Natural Fund, and President of the International Association of Acupuncture & Moxibustion Manipulation Techniques. Dr. Zhang has published more than 80 papers in both Chinese and international journals, and has been presented with numerous awards for his success in the field of TCM. He earned national prizes in China for two of his works, “Explanation of Acupuncture and Moxibustion Compendium” and “Collection of Acupuncture Classic Literature”.

Dr. Wu obtained his Ph D. Degree in Chinese & Western Integrated Medicine - Hebei Medical University (Shijiazhuang, China);Master Degree of Medicine in Acupuncture & Qigong - China Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine (Beijing, China),one of the 1st round of graduates, both in China and around the world to receive the Master’s Degree of Medicine in Qigong Program; Bachelor Degree of Traditional Chinese Medicine - Heilongjiang University of Chinese Medicine (Harbin, China).

He now serves as an Executive Member of The World Federation of Acupuncture & Moxibustion Societies  (WFAS) (Non-Governmental Organization in relation with WHO);Vice President of Educational Instruction Committee of World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies (WFCMS); Vice-President of The University Cooperation Working Committee of the  WFAS; Vice President of International Association of Acupuncture &  Moxibustion Manipulation Technique; Founder & President of Wu’s Head Massage International Association; Executive Director of The Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture Association of Canada.  
Dr. Wu served as clinical instructor of the Acupuncture Department at the Michener Institute for Applied Health Sciences, as well the clinical instructor at Wasser Pain Center, Mount Sinai Hospital ;
More than 30 years of experiences in clinical research of acupuncture manipulation, Qigong, insomnia, uterine bleeding, infertility, physical and psychological dysfunctions. Recent years, the strategic development of oversea Chinese Medicine and overseas teaching and education of Chinese Medicine has been carried out to a great extent.

There are over two hundred thirty reports from different countries such as Japan, U.S.A., Germany, France, Austria, hungary, China, Yugoslavia, and Canada that feature about him and his contribution through newspaper, magazine, journals, radio and television.

Dr. Shentao Wu, male, PhD of medicine, is the chief physician, professor, and director for the MD and PhD programs at Tianjin Medical University First Affiliated Hospital, where he is also the director of the Endocrine and Metabolic Diseases department. He studied under two great international Masters of TCM, Dr. Zhang Qi and Dr. Lu Zhizheng.
He is Vice-Chairman of the Chinese Medicine Association Committee of Diabetes, Chairman of Tianjin Medical Association Diabetes Committee, Vice-chairman of Tianjin Association of Integrative Medicine Endocrine Committee, and Vice-chairman of World Federation of Chinese Medicine Committee of Diabetes.
He has been named as outstanding talent for Tianjin Health and Medical System and a famous youth Chinese Medicine Doctor.
He has conducted a number of scientific researches and has published more than 80 papers.
   

 

Dr. Zhang Yiling

Dr. Zhang obtained his Master Degree from Henan University of TCM. Bachelor Degree of Traditional Chinese Medicine - Heilongjiang University of Chinese Medicine (Harbin, China). She has over 25 years experience practicing Medicine. She was the Director of the Heilongjiang Academy of TCM Second Hospital of Heilongjiang Province TCM Research Institute. She specializes in Algiatry, Internal Medicine, and Treating Eye Diseases. Dr. Zhang is the daughter of internationally well-known professor Zhang Jin, and she has been learning family inherited TCM and acupunture techniques from her early childhood.
   

Dr. Liu holds a Ph.D Degree of Traditional Chinese Medicine from Heilongjiang University of Chinese Medicine; Master Degree in Science Study from Chinese Academy of Sciences; Master Degree of Education in Health and Kinesiology from University of Texas; Neuromotor Control study at York University; He now holds Instructor Certificate of Thai Massage, International Association of Thai Massage; Advanced Acupuncture Certificate at Ontario College of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Dr. Liu specializes in treating sport injury, motor vehicle accident, pain control, etc.

 
 
 

Dr. Chow obtained his Ph.D Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Heilongjiang University of Chinese Medicine and his Master’s degree in Acupuncture and Tuina from Henan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. He earned his Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine Certificate from the Taiwan Government TCM Examination Board. Before moving to Canada, Dr. Chow was a highly regarded Professor at Hong Kong Herbalist Association of Chinese Medicine Research Institute. He is currently a Member of the Professional College of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture of Ontario, The Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture Association of Canada, Member of the Canadian Academy of Chinese Traditional Health Sciences. The students at OCTCM benefit from Dr. Chow's incredible ability to translate Herbal Principles and guide them through their Herbal Clinical Internships Dr.Chow specializes in the study of Gynacology, Pediatrics, Chinese Herbs and Acupuncture.

 
 
Dr.Azita Sadraei graduated from the medical university of Iran in 1999 and has practiced as a general physician for 5 years. She immigrated to Canada in 2004 and continued her education in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM)including Herbology and Acupuncture. She graduated from OCTCM and is now an instructor at the College. She brings her valuable knowledge from Western Medicine and combine with TCM in her lecture where students find a great asset and a comprehensive understanding of the materials. She practices Acupuncture and one of her specialty being Cosmetic Acupuncture and Traditional Skin Care. Her goal is to combine Traditional Chinese Medicine and western medicine together in order to provide the best solution in the treatment of patients.
   

 

Dr. Inga Spatari

Dr. Inga Spatari obtained her Ph D. and Master of Science in Acupuncture, Chinese Medicine at Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, for which reason she completed 8 years of studies and scientific research in China. At the same time Dr. Spatari is a Medical Doctor in Western Medicine, graduated with honors from Faculty of General Medicine at State Medical & Pharmaceutical University "Nicolae Testemitanu", Republic of Moldova in 1997.
Award-winner of 3 International Grants over 10 years of broad clinical experience in domain of Chinese Medicine, Dr. Spatari has done researches on Psychosomatic Diseases, Endocrine and Metabolic Diseases, Brain Recovery after Severe Injuries and other factors, which she exposed in her publishing, thesis and articles; participated in multiple International Symposiums and Conferences of Chinese Medicine, Acupuncture, Digestion Diseases in TCM, Gynecological Diseases in TCM, Male Diseases in TCM and others, as participant and speaker. Worked at Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Tianjin, China as TCM Tutor for foreign students and teacher of Medical English Terminology; as GP and TCM practitioner at Beijing International Medical Center; as Doctor Acupuncturist in Department of Alternative and Complimentary Medicine at Clinic ”Sancos” Chisinau, Moldova.
Now Dr. Spatari lectures and does clinical supervision at Ontario College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Toronto, where is using her broad knowledge of both, Western and Chinese Medicine to elucidate the patterns and treatment in the best way for patients and students.

   

Dr. Chienhui Yang obtained her PhD degree in Pharmacology of Traditional Chinese Medicine from Heilongjiang University of Chinese Medicine and her Master’s degree in Acupuncture and Tuina from Henan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Dr. Yang earned her Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine License from the Examination Authority of Taiwan Government before she immigrated to Canada. She has over 20 years of experience in this field.
Recognizing the increasing development of TCM throughout the world she believes continuing to advance TCM scientifically would allow a wider adaptation and understanding of TCM globally. This belief eventually motivated her to obtain her PhD degree in Pharmacology of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Currently she continues to devote herself in the research and development of TCM.

 
 

 

Dr. Paul Rosiers

Dr. Des Rosiers earned his Master of Acupuncture and TCM at Yo San University in Santa Monica, CA. His dedication to the advancement of TCM and complimentary medicine is evident in his participation in a number of Associations including the National Guild for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, Friends of Alternative & Complementary Medicine Therapies (FACT), and North American Association of Asian Professionals (NAAAP). Dr. Des Rosiers is also a Diplomat for the National Certification Commission of Acupuncture and  Oriental Medicine and  for the  National  Acupuncture Orthopedics Association. His practice includes Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine, Chinese and Western Nutrition, Tai Qi and Qi Gong instruction and Tui Na Massage for the treatment of all chronic and acute diseases. He specializes in orthopedic injuries, pediatrics and nutrition. Dr. Des Rosiers offers seminars and workshops in Nutritional Therapy, Auricular and Scalp Acupuncture. His articles include, The Treatment of Low Back Pain and Sciatica with Oriental Medicine, Healthy Cooking For Today’s Busy Lifestyle,and Healthy Eating for Maximum Qi.
   

 

Dr. Fang (Fong) Wang

Dr. Fong Wang obtained her Master degree of Traditional Chinese Medicine/Acupuncture from Heilongjiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine . She is a member of the Canadian Society of Chinese Medicine & Acupuncture and also a member of World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies. She is an experienced Chinese medicine, acupuncture practitioner and specialist in woman’s health and beauty. Her treatment combines acupuncture, Chinese herbs and a western skin care regime. Her unique approach has generated much media and public interest. The National Post featured her in a ground-breaking story on the subject in September 2004. She was chosen as The Best of Toronto – Cosmetic Acupuncture in the year of 2004, by Now Magazine. In the summer 2006, Fashion Magazine recommended her treatment as “one of the worthiest facials cross-country”. She teaches Advanced Cosmetic Acupuncture at Ontario College of Traditional Chinese Medicine

   

 

Dr. Robert Li

Dr. Robert Li obtained his B.Sc. at Beijing College of Acupuncture & Orthopedics in Beijing, China and continued to complete his M.Sc. at China Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine, China. Dr. Li worked as a Medical Doctor in the Acupuncture and Neurology Clinic at Guanganmen Hospital in Beijing for 6 years, and reached the position of Chief Physician. He has rich clinical and teaching experience in Traditional Chinese Medicine, especially in Acupuncture and Neurological Diseases. He is highly regarded for his exceptional abilities to translate the traditional teachings and texts of Chinese Medicine for English speakers.
   

 

Dr. Zi Qiang Shan

Dr. Shan obtained his B.Sc. at Guangzhou Yuexiu Health School and his M.Sc. at Henan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. He has held a number of prestigious positions such as Executive Committee Member of the Academy of Chinese Traditional Health Sciences and a Member of the World Association of Chinese Medicine, Canada Chapter. Dr. Shan comes from a long family line of TCM Doctors, dating  back  to  his  earliest  ancestors. He  began his initial  training in  this  ancient healing art under the tutelage of his father and grandfather. He has been successfully practicing and treating disease with Traditional Chinese Medicine for over 20 years and continues to expose students to advanced practical experiences in Internal Medicine.
   

 

Dr. James Yuan

Dr. Yuan obtained his B.Sc. and M.Sc.at Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in China. As a Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine he lectured at the China International College of Traditional Chinese Medicine. He is also a Diplomat in Acupuncture (NCCAOM), and the Vice President of Wu's Head Massage International Association. Dr. Yuan has worked in the field of health preservation and rehabilitation for almost 20 years and has conducted advanced research studies in the prevention and treatment of senile diseases such as  coronary heart diseases, chronic bronchitis, and essential hypertension, using Chinese Medicine. His publications include,  "Health Preservation Science in TCM", "The Essence of Health Preservation and Rehabilitation in Middle Age". He is also one of the editors for "A Chinese English & English Chinese Dictionary of Acupuncture and Moxibustion". Dr. Yuan continues to bridge his understanding of Eastern and Western healing modalities and has recently completed a Diploma in Food and Nutrition Management. His recent efforts are to create an educational and treatment system of healing that combines Chinese Nutritional Therapy with Western Nutritional Principles.
 

 

 

 

Wang completed his study at a very early time in 1972 with an additional year of Advanced Study in TCM at Ching Wah Chinese Medicine Institute, Hong Kong. After graduation, Wang practiced as a TCM Doctor in Hong Kong and in 1978, he founded Wing Han Chinese Herbal Company, a highly regarded international exporter and supplier of Chinese Herbs. Wong is an active member in a number of organizations and associations including his positions as an Executive member and Professor at the Association of  Hong Kong & Kowloon  Practitioners of Chinese Medicine Ltd, Executive Member of The Chinese Medicine And Acupuncture Association of Canada, and Consultant for the Ontario Federation of Chinese Martial Arts Organizations. In 1988 her was awarded the Higher Diploma in China Trade by The Institute of Research on Economics of SEZs Hong Kong & Macaw and the Hong Kong Management Association. He lectures, and offers clinical supervision and consultation on Advanced Herbal Training in a number of TCM schools in Toronto. Dr. Wong is an indispensable resource on the study and practice of Chinese Herbal Medicine.
 

 

 

 

Lam graduated from the University of Toronto with an Honours B.A. of Science. Her interest in the wellness of life inspired Lam to continue her studies by enrolling in the Acupuncture Program at Michener Institute for Applied Sciences. While earning her Honours Degree in Acupuncture and TCM, she concurrently completed her Advanced TCM Diploma at OCTCM. With her rich and vast experience in the fields of Western and Eastern medical research, massage therapy and treatment, Lam continues to benefit the school community at OCTCM as a Practitioner and Clinical Supervisor. She is currently practicing TCM and Massage Therapy in Mississauga and Toronto, and is a Member of The Traditional Chinese Medicine Physicians Association of Canada.
 
 
Le obtained his Bachelor Degree from University of Toronto majored in Biology and Chemistry He also completed the Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine Program, a 4-years full-time program, and one of the first of its kind in Canada at the Michener Institute for Applied Health Sciences. The Michener Institute is the only publicly funded post-secondary educational institution solely dedicated to educating professionals in a wide range of Health Care disciplines in Canada. There, Le was graduated with distinction and earned his Honours Diploma of Health Sciences in Acupuncture, and subsequently, a Bachelor of Health Science (Complementary Medicine) Degree from Charles Sturt University in Australia. After graduation, Le was invited to work as an instructor at the Ontario College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Toronto, and is currently working as a TCM Practitioner in the Mississauga region. Le is currently a member of The Traditional Chinese Medicine Physicians Association of Canada.
 

 

 
Zoran Jelicic has pursued his interest in complementary medicine for over 10 years. He earned his Diploma in Massage Therapy from Centennial College in 2001. Jelicic is the attending massage therapist at St. John's Rehab Hospital where he is involved in treatments of complex trauma and burn rehabilitation using unique combination of Massage Therapy, Aquatic Therapy and TCM. In order to further his knowledge he studied acupuncture at The Michener Institute for Applied Health Science and Traditional Chinese Medicine at Ontario College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, where he received his Advanced Traditional Chinese Medicine Honors Diploma. Jelicic is a Member of the Ontario Massage Therapists Association, Canadian Massage Therapist Alliance and College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. He is certified in Aquatic Massage Therapy and various forms of Tui Na-Chinese Manipulative Therapy.
 

 

 

 

Sifu Dylan Kirk has spent his life immersed in traditional eastern cultures.  He began his study in Baguazhang, tai chi chuan, qi gong and other martial arts under Sifu Chik Qadir Mason.  He has studied, practiced and taught classical Taoist martial, healing and meditation arts for the past 12 years. He received his diploma of TCM from Ontario College of Traditional Chinese Medicine where he is now an instructor. He is well known for his ability to clearly convey the complex theories and practices of classical Chinese theories to the north American audience. He is currently an instructor of diagnoses in the Ontario College of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Master Chao

Started to learn "Mi Zong Luo han Men" martial art style and traditional Chinese Medicine traumatolotyin with Master Yuting Ye at South China Athletic Stadium at the age of 14. Master Yuting Ye was the security personnel of Guandong Victory Biaoju (known as security company) and he was the martial art teacher of Shanghai Jingwu Athletic Association. Subsequetnly Master Chao was employeed as martial arts teacher in the South China Athletic Association Stadium. He also followed the famous Massage teacher "Xing Gu" in Macau, learning about Tuina massage. As well he followed Dr. Zhang yin Quan to learn and practice Traditional Chinese Medicine; traumatology bone setting, acupuncture technique from Dr. Guo Qun in Beijing; standing-station Arts, Qigong and Xinyi Quan learned from Master Han Xin Heng. After immigrated to Canada in 1973, Master Chao devotes himself in the teaching of Qigong, Taichi, Xinyi Quan for nearly 40 years.
