& AFFILIATIONS

OCTCM has strong affiliations with local and international Chinese medicine communities. Through these networks, our students and graduates have opportunities to study and practice TCM at the highest levels and in a global context.

Traditional Chinese medicine is increasingly recognized by the public and government. Research and practical possibilities grow each year. OCTCM strives to stay at the forefront of the movement bridging traditional and modern medicine. We teach the skills that position graduates at the front of the field.

Currently, OCTCM is the vice-chairman unit of the World Federation of Acupuncture Associations (WFAS), the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Associations (WFCMS), the Federation of Traditional Chinese Medicine Colleges of Canada (FTCMCC) and the Council of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture Schools of Ontario (CTCMASO). OCTCM has been approved by the Canadian Federal Ministry of Immigration and Ontario Ministry of Education to enroll international students in the relevant acupuncture and TCM courses.  In addition, OCTCM provides financial assistance to local students.
