Joy is a registered acupuncturist and traditional Chinese medicine practitioner as well as a craniosacral therapist. She began to formally pursue her long-standing love for natural health and healing in 2001, enrolling in the acupuncture program at the Institute for Traditional Chinese Medicine (ITCM) in Toronto. After graduating in 2004, Joy studied Chinese herbal medicine until 2006.
