8 Hour Gua Sha Workshop - Facial + Body Gua Sha

Have you seen the Gua Sha craze online? Are you interested in learning new skills that can help yourself and others? Do you want an introduction to Traditional Chinese Medicine? This entry level course is a great way to dip your toes into a new field, or make an addition to your massage or other therapeutic practice.

Gua Sha is the practice of moving objects along the skin and channels to relieve pain, break up stagnation, move qi and blood, brighten the complexion, plump the skin as well as much more. On the body Gua Sha will leave petechiae marks, but on the face no marking should appear.

We run our one day, 8 hour Gua Sha workshops on the weekend, the morning of the course will consist of theory and the afternoon will consist of practice and examination. You will receive your very own take home Gua Sha kit as well as a certificate of completion. By the end of the course you will know the indications and contraindications for Gua Sha, safety, consent and legal considerations and have the necessary skills to be able to safely and effectively provide Gua Sha on others or yourself.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made two weeks prior to the course start date will result in a $50 + HST cancellation fee. Student cancellations made after that date will not receive a refund, so please ensure your availability ahead of time.
