Dr. Clayton Shiu will be introducing Wu-Style Taiji, including Shen and Yi practice, push-hand methods, and other concepts and applications.
Cancellation Policy
Seminar registration may be canceled with a full refund 14 days prior to the course date. A $100 cancellation fee and a 6% transaction fee for credit card payments will be deducted from the refund.
For cancellations received between 7-13 days prior to the course date, 50% of the fee will be deducted from the refund, less a $100 cancellation fee and a 6% transaction fee for credit card payments.
Registration is non-refundable after November 13th, 2026. Registrants who do not attend the seminar will not be eligible for a refund.

About Dr. Shiu
Dr. Clayton Shiu is one of the leading clinical neuroscience acupuncturists who specializes in Cerebral and neurological disorders.
Clayton received a Doctorate of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Acupuncture and Moxibustion at the Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, one of the most highly regarded teaching facility and the largest acupuncture and moxibustion center in China. His research was concerned with acupuncture treatment for cerebral disorders under the tutelage of Dr. Shi Xue Min, the pioneer of modern acupuncture stroke treatment, at the distinguished First Teaching Hospital of Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Clayton was awarded a special scholarship by the Chinese Government to undertake this position as part of continued efforts by both the Chinese and United States governments to facilitate greater knowledge exchange between the countries.
Having trained in both Western and Chinese medicine, as well as treating many patients with acupuncture at the referral of some of the United States’ best physicians, Clayton is at the forefront of integrating Western medicine with acupuncture for best patient care. He is also in unique position to bridge the philosophical and practical differences between Western and Eastern medicine, and has developed communication techniques that improve understanding for medical practitioners and patients alike.
In 2012, Clayton was awarded a scholarship to study and undertake research in Tianjin, China, where he had been evolving his practice for those doctorate years under the tutelage of Dr. Shi Xue Min, the ‘Father of acupuncture’ and creator of the stroke acupuncture system Xing Nao Kai Qiao. Clayton believes strongly in the need for the Western hospitals to embrace the breakthroughs acupuncture has achieved over the last 50 years in treating stroke and cerebral disorders including Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, multiple sclerosis and hypertension. He is now dedicating his life’s work to facilitating the integration of Western and Chinese research and practice for better quality healthcare and outcomes for patients.
