3 Hours Gua Sha Workshop - Facial + Body Gua Sha

Have you seen the Gua Sha craze online? Are you interested in learning new skills that can help your self-care? Do you want an introduction to Traditional Chinese Medicine? This entry-level workshop is a great way to add to your self-care routine.

Gua Sha is the practice of moving objects along the skin and channels to relieve pain, break up stagnation, move qi and blood, brighten the complexion, plump the skin and much more. On the body, Gua Sha will leave petechiae marks, but on the face, no markings should appear.

We run our one-day, 3-hour Gua Sha workshops on the weekend. The first portion of the workshop will consist of theory, and the second portion will consist of practice and examination. By the end of the workshop, you'll know the indications and contraindications for Gua Sha, safety and have the necessary skills to safely and effectively perform Gua Sha on yourself. You'll receive a take-home gua sha kit and certificate of completion upon completion of the workshop.

*Cancellations made two weeks prior to the workshop start date will result in a $50 + HST cancellation fee. Student cancellations made after that date will not receive a refund, so please ensure your availability ahead of time.
