COURSE DESCRIPTION:

This course selectively introduces classic acupuncture literature, focusing on important ancient texts like Huangdi’s Internal Canon, as well as significant Chinese philosophical works such as Dao De Jing and Zhong Yong. It is designed for both acupuncture students and any aspiring individuals. Its goal is to enrich their understanding of the fundamental aspects of acupuncture theory, encompassing key principles, techniques, and clinical specialties. Additionally, it imparts the essential principles of Chinese Medicine through dialogues between the legendary Yellow Emperor and his teachers.





INSTRUCTOR BIOGRAPHY:

Yumi Ridsdale is a registered Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner, certified Acupuncturist, and licensed Naturopathy practitioner with over a decade of dedicated experience in natural medicine. She is specialized in Classical Chinese Medicine with Zhang Zhong Jing’s works such as Shang Han Lun. Yumi runs an award-winning Chinese Medicine Clinic in Cambridge, Ontario. In her leisure time, she finds joy in cooking and playing with her two beautiful dogs.
