PRESENTER BIOGRAPHY:
Henry Tarazona (B.M , M.D, PhD China) R.TCMP, R.Ac
Professor Henry Tarazona developed an interest in Chinese culture from an early age, particularly in Chinese medicine. Growing up, he spent a lot of time in hospitals with his parents who are doctors, which sparked his fascination with medicine.
At the age of eighteen, Henry traveled to China to learn the language and immerse himself in its customs. Later, he enrolled in Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine where he obtained a bachelor's degree in traditional Chinese medicine. Eager to learn more, he continued his studies and graduated in 2019 with a master's degree in medicine with a specialization in acupuncture and Tuina. He also completed his doctoral studies in Chinese medicine, acupuncture, and Tuina, graduating with honors from the same university.
Henry spent twelve years studying and working in different hospitals in Beijing and Tianjin, North China. He specializes in treating internal medicine, pain management, pediatrics, gynecology, and neurological diseases. Recently, he started his practice in Ontario, Canada, where he provides care for patients with all his knowledge and dedication.
In addition to his clinical work, Henry is also a professor at several colleges and universities of Chinese medicine around the world, including Canada, Greece, Chile, Brazil, and Vietnam. He has also been invited to numerous international conferences on Chinese medicine in various countries.
